EAT AND LOVE YOURSELF GRAPHIC NOVEL DESIGN
Back cover and design pages I created for Eat, and Love Yourself, original graphic novel published by BOOM! Studios.

Eat, and Love Yourself is a story of Mindy, a young woman living with an eating disorder. She accidentally finds a magical item (a bar of chocolate) that takes her on an incredible journey of self-discovery.
Inspired by the "Eat, and Love Yourself" message on the chocolate bar Mindy discovers in the store, my design envisions the potential appearance of other chocolates within the same line and explores the positive affirmations they could convey.
Positioned just before and after the main storyline, these two pages capture the transformative journey of the character. While Mindy doesn't engage in selfies within the narrative, I chose this visual approach as the most compelling means to depict her self-perception.
Given the main character's role in a coffee shop and my own deep love for coffee, I incorporated coffee imagery into the author's bio page of the book. Utilizing a cup to emphasize the author's name and featuring dreamy coffee steam, this design choice adds a delightful touch that resonates with the book's theme.
